Touch screen & LCD Bonding 

GDT supports 3 different bonding solutions for customer, namely Tape Bond,Optical Bond and Zero Fit. 

1).Tape Bonding is currently the most common way of bonding, that is, simply fix the touch screen and the four sides of the display with double-sided adhesive. Because of its low cost and simple application, it is favored by small and medium-sized manufacturers. However, there is an air layer between the display screen and the touch screen, so that the display effect is not satisfactory.

2). Optical Bonding is a technical process in which the display and the touch screen are seamlessly and completely bonded together with LOCA or other optical adhesive.

3). Zero Fit is a new concept that began to emerge in 2018.Zero fit has been successfully applied in some manufacturers. The bonding method is between fully optical bonding and Tape bonding, mainly filling a non-glue transparent medium with a refractive index equivalent to glass between the TP and the display. As there is no gap between the glass and the display screen, which reduces diffuse reflection and improves the display effect;Besides,because it has no stickiness, assembly and maintenance are very simple, and the overall cost is low.
